Office Assistant - Gatekeeper
The gatekeeper is the first and last face seen when a broker, recruit, client, or prospect walks-in our office or calls our phone line. They set the tone for our patrons in the office and consumer experience with our brands.
As an extension of communications, the gatekeeper routes inbound phone communications, keeps various appointment calendars and room reservations, event RSVPs, handles in and outbound mail, printing, access to the back offices, and any required COVID & HIPAA record keeping of guests. This entry level position offers room for advancement based on skills and interests. As office assistant, departments will delegate various tasks to this position to assist with. These could include data entry, social media scheduling, copy writing, creating insurance illustrations, learning programs and teaching others how to use them, creating forms/company documents/stationary and more. While this is an entry level position, it is meant to be the beginning of a career path. It is meant for candidates with long term goals who are looking to advance. |
Individual Health & Medicare Administrator
Individual Health encompasses Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Ancillary Products, Individual Health Plans, Dental, Vision, Hearing – any health product that covers an individual and/or their family independently of employer coverage.
A strong Administrator is highly organized and knows how to manage tasks well. Many Administrators oversee collecting and keeping important or confidential files and always follows PHI/HIPAA compliance rules and document whereabouts. The Administrator should have an effective task management system in place to complete several items throughout the day. Their duties and responsibilities may constantly change throughout the workday, so a good Administrator should be adaptable to a changing environment. Administrators’ complete tasks and duties for the entire department and/or a specific line within the individual health department. They typically make sure the overall department is operating effectively and complete smaller tasks to help efficiently complete larger work items. Administrators need strong computer and software skills, as they regularly use several computer applications to complete their tasks. |
