Individual Health Administrator
This is a full-time, hourly position , Monday - Friday 8:30a-5:00pm

Job Summary
Individual Health encompasses Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Ancillary Products, Individual Health Plans, Dental, Vision, Hearing – any health product that covers an individual and/or their family independently of employer coverage.
Individual Health Administrator (IHA) is the point person for the department. They ensure the overall department is operating effectively by acting as the “glue” between the other individual health admins who are mobile or have a specific focus. For example, the Broker Service Admin is equally responsible for the portion of data entry and communications, but as that position is often out in the field they may need information on the go, confirmations from the home office on faxes, etc. IHAs are intended to work in tandem with each other – pulling support from their peers when needed to cover bulkier projects, service broker needs, or meet deadlines.
IHAs often liaise between brokers and carriers, making it vital to maintain successful relationships with both. It is vital that this position be fluent in available processes, products, tools and resources to assist brokers including enrollment platforms, quoting systems, carrier websites, company websites and tools, training programs, and when to refer someone to another department – and who within that department.

Position Responsibilities
- Takes initiative and responsibly to learn the above skills and knowledge.
- Maintain positive working relationships with carriers and brokers.
- Track department deadlines, FAQs, and trending topics, with solutions, to report to Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) for distribution.
- Keep up to date with product changes that could impact brokers and/or their clients – cascade info to MARCOM for distribution.
- Brokers with questions and support. Train brokers (in tandem with Broker Service Rep) how to find information and use all resources, tools, and tech listed above.
- Maintain all individual health client records and alerts in company CRM – audit frequently and update consistently.
- Ensure timely input of enrollments and related data. Enlist assistance from other IHAs and/or sister departments (front desk, contracting) if needed to meet deadlines.
- Assist brokers with questions and support for both.
- Service Carothers book of business year-round, including acquired books of business
Position Requirements
- Must maintain active NV Health producer license.
- Must maintain RTS status with key health carriers.
- Must be Nevada Health Link Certified
- General understanding of health insurance, qualifications, and regulations
- Health Insurance Product Knowledge
Position Skills & Knowledge
- Requires strong computer and software skills as they use a variety of computer applications daily, i.e Microsoft Suite .
- Highly organized. adaptable to managing multiple tasks efficiently and have an effective task management routine.
- Knowledge of PHI/HIPAA compliance regulations and able to handle confidential information securely.
